Sierramotion’s facility is well equipped for making prototypes and low volume production. The company has equipment for design verification, instrumentation, assembly and testing of motor and motion system assemblies. Skilled technicians assemble and manufacture specialty coils, unique magnet assemblies, and complete special mechatronic assemblies and actuators.
All products and sub-assemblies are well documented with manufacturing process instructions as well as a comprehensive set of mechanical drawings. All US based builds are supported by local machine shops and components suppliers.
Sierramotion is a division of Allient, formerly known as Allied Motion Technologies. Allient has a global manufacturing presence with more than 2300 employees and 21 locations, producing more than 3 million motors/year. This ensures a seamless transfer to high volume serial production.
